Celebrate Halloween at Myrtle Beach’s Broadway at the Beach
Coming to Myrtle Beach in the fall is great for many reasons: it is not as busy as the summer, the hotels are more affordable, and the climate is very comfortable. The warm weather in late October means some killer Halloween costumes and parties! So if you’re going to be in Myrtle Beach for Halloween this year, we hope you’re planning on bringing a good costume!
Here’s a rundown of the fun planned at Broadway and beyond for Halloween, for both kids and adults:
Saturday, Oct. 26, 2013
The Celebrity Square of Terror Adult Halloween costume contest and party at Broadway at the Beach gets started around 7:30 p.m. All of the clubs in Celebrity Square participate, and admission to the clubs is free as long as you’re wearing a costume. The party draws thousands of revelers, and the costume contest is a big deal: The first place winner gets an award of $2,500, second wins $1,500 and the third place costume wearer takes home $1,000.
The costume contest part of the evening gets started around 10 p.m., with local celebrity judges narrowing down entrants into a finalist pool. After that, it comes down to audience participation.
If it rains on Halloween, the party will move to Nov. 2.
